Is Arlo free?
There is a real free way in: connect Slack and your workspace is granted $100 in credits, with no card, and those granted credits never expire. That is enough for months of ordinary use for one person. After that you buy credits — there is no recurring fee you have to pay to keep the account.
Does Arlo charge per user or per seat?
No. Adding a teammate costs nothing; you pay only for the work Arlo actually does. A team of ten that asks a little spends less than one person who asks a lot, which is the opposite of how per-seat software prices the same situation.
How does Arlo's pricing work?
You buy credits and spend them on whatever you ask Arlo to do, at a flat 400 credits per $1. Connect Slack for $100 in credits free, then choose a monthly subscription from $20 to $50,000 with 10% bonus credits. Once subscribed, one-time top-ups start at $50. No feature is locked behind a bigger number.
Do credits expire?
Credits roll over and expire 12 months after the purchase that created them. That is twelve times longer than the one-month rollover most credit-based assistants offer, and it means a quiet month costs you nothing.
What does a credit actually buy?
Measured typical costs: a back-and-forth message is about 32 credits, a researched answer with sources about 288, a drafted email or document about 192, and a built app or dashboard about 1,056. Arlo on the phone is 45 credits a minute, sitting in on a meeting is 10 a minute, a generated image is 40, and video is 75 credits a second. So $50 — 20,000 credits — is roughly 625 messages, 69 researched answers, or 18 apps built.
Why is the one-time top-up minimum $50?
Below $50 the payment processing and support cost more than the sale, so subscriber top-ups start at $50. That buys 20,000 credits and lasts most people months. The entry subscription is $20 per month.
What happens when I run out?
Arlo stops and tells you, rather than running up a bill you didn't agree to. Nothing is deleted and nothing is lost — your memory, your connections and your history stay exactly as they were. Add credits and it picks up where it stopped.
Is there a subscription to cancel?
Yes. Paid usage starts with a monthly subscription from $20; it adds 10% bonus credits and can be canceled anytime. Credits you already have stay yours for their full 12 months. One-time top-ups are available only while subscribed and never renew.
